Baby Boomers On CD is a CD-Rom which reflects the lives and times of Australia's Baby Boomers. The CD-Rom is Internet Interactive, in that it not only provides access to the hundreds of chapters, photographs and information on the CD-Rom itself, but contains links which give instant access to Baby Boomer related facts and information on the worldwide web when the user's computer is connected to the internet.

As Baby Boomers On CD is presented in HTML format, its content is accessed by using an internet brower program like Internet Explorer or Safari. This not only guarantees ease of operation, it allows users to go from the CD-Rom and onto the internet and back again seamlessley. Baby Boomers On CD is compatible with both Mac and PC computers.

The sociologists and the media define Baby Boomers as those born between (and including) 1946 and 1964. They are the children of people who were married after World War II, or the children of those married prior to or during the war but had withheld starting their families until the conflict was over. Without them, Australia's population would not have doubled during the last forty years of the 20th century. Following the Biblical reference to a generation as being a forty year period, the disc's chapters cover the first forty years of the Baby Boomers generation - 1946 to 1985. This period also covers at least the first 21 years in the lives of all Baby Boomers.
Baby Boomers on CD is written by Stephen Yarrow, a Baby Boomer (born in September 1950) who migrated to Australia from Britain with his family in 1960.
